Few people in the NFL expected the Packers to be in the position that they currently sit in, that is the big news, the other big story is while one team of Farves past is soaring his current residence is sinking like a rock. Many thought that when team would shrink into no existence and become a sad form of their former self. Instead Aaron Rogers has come in and taken the team under his leadership ands is looking like a team that can see a Super Bowl in the next few seasons. While is may be a far stretch, it is possible that 2011 may be the year the Pack return to the big game.

Rogers is looking to make the needed adjustments in order to get the best results for his efforts. Everyone thought that Favre leaving would be the undoing of the team and that they would wind up like the Detroit Lions in regards to their overall record. Instead this has been a massive change thi leadership on the field has resulted in the team having a better season.the improvements that the team has had in the past few seasons, has allowed the team the chance to see and do a lot better in the division , than what many had expected them to be. It was expected when Favre retired or tried to retire or thought, oh you get the point. No matter what you think about the young player, there is a lot of hope that surrounds the teams chances this season.

When he considered to return, he was under the impression that he would just naturally get the starting position, this was a spot that Rogers had earned and was already settled into. As the years have passed, he has proven that he is dangerous in several different ways. One of these is that when under pressure, he has no trouble at all taking off and running with the ball. Many fans and critics almost expect hime to have as many running yards per game as he does passing. This is a sign of a leader that is ready for his role.

There is a lot more to the team than Aaron Rogers and his amazing passing game, there is the ability that he has to make the huge plays when it matters the most. One of these examples is that he can hand the ball off with exact precision this in turn allows the running game to take the ball and find a hole to run past when it is needed most. Running the ball is as important as having a quarterback that can pass the ball and hit his intended target. Keeping these two pieces of weaponary in place will go a long way in getting the Packer back to the Super Bowl.

It is safe to say that the people of Green Bay are way over the Favre and are looking to Aaron Rogers as being the new savior for the storied team. The only real questions will be can this hope remain strong enough to carry the weight of an entire city on his back?
