6. In order for the child to have healthy gums and teeth, regular dental check up is needed. If we bring tem for a dental check up in a regular basis, they will get that as a habit to consult their dentist regularly.

Aside from those advices, we should also include cheese and yogurt in their diet or any other dairy product especially if they become choosy and do not like to drink their milk, we need to find substitutes. Yogurt and cheese are low in fat, and they are a potent source of calcium and protein needed by the body.
8. We should teach them not to eat so many sweets; this is beneficial for their body and teeth at the same time. Anything that is beyond the required amount of sugar in the body is not healthy, like too much sweet biscuits or too much candies.
9. As we brush our child’s teeth, we should only use a small amount of toothpaste, specifically pea-sized.
